Questions before you buy
Is there a free option?
Yes. Local models are always free to run. They execute on your own machine and never draw on your credit balance. Every new account also gets £15 of signup credit for cloud usage, with no card required, so you can try the cloud-backed features before paying anything.
What happens when my credit runs out?
Cloud features pause until you add more credit. Nothing is deleted, and you are never charged automatically without your say-so. You can top up at any time, or turn on optional auto-recharge from your dashboard if you'd rather not think about it. Local models keep working for free regardless of your balance.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are monthly and you can cancel at any time from your dashboard. There's no minimum term and no cancellation fee. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and any remaining top-up credit stays on your balance.
Is my footage uploaded to the cloud?
No. All media processing (transcription, vision analysis, embeddings, and search) runs locally on your machine. Your footage never leaves your computer. Only the text of your chat instructions is sent to the cloud model when you choose a cloud model; your video files are not.
What counts as usage, and how is credit spent?
Credit is only ever spent on cloud model usage, meaning the requests you send to a cloud AI model while editing. It's metered by the tokens those requests use, billed at your plan's standard rate. Running local models, ingesting and indexing footage, and searching your library on-device do not cost credit.
Do you charge VAT?
Yes, where applicable. All listed prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout based on your billing location. Your invoice and dashboard show the VAT applied to each subscription payment and top-up.
Is unused top-up credit refundable?
Yes. Unused pay-as-you-go top-up credit is refundable within 14 days of purchase under our refund policy. Credit you have already spent on cloud usage isn't refundable. See the Refund Policy for the full details.
