You can cancel your EditAssist subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation is self-service and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access until that date.
When you cancel, your monthly included credit lapses immediately at the end of the billing period and will not roll over. Any separately purchased top-up credit remains on your account for the remainder of its 12-month validity period.
Refunds are available only for unused credit. Because our service delivers immediate, metered compute, any credit that has already been consumed is non-refundable. This protects against abuse and reflects the instant nature of the service you consented to at checkout.
To request a refund of unused top-up credit, email us at legal@solvent.studio from the email address associated with your account. Please include your account email and the approximate date of the top-up purchase.
We aim to respond to refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 14 days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a further 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we detect unusual usage patterns, fraud, or abuse of the credit system. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that attempt to exploit refunds or circumvent billing controls.
This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under Irish or EU consumer law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund for reasons not covered here, please contact us and we will review your case individually.
